Robyn Moreth: RTM College Consulting

I am an Independent Educational Consultant (IEC) with sixteen years of experience working with high school students. I worked for eleven years in the public schools as a Spanish teacher (District 200) and Guidance Counselor/College Counselor (District 214). My background gives me a distinct advantage because I understand teenagers. I truly enjoy working with them and helping guide them towards the college decision. I also understand the ins and outs of the high school experience given my former duties as both teacher and counselor. I established RTM College Consulting in 2007 because I saw a need to better educate students and families on the growing complexities of the college admissions process. For the past six years, I have worked as an IEC providing college consulting services to students of all academic backgrounds. My office is located in Arlington Heights and although the majority of my clients hail from the Chicago suburbs, I do have clients from the city and as far as Colorado and Canada. I pride myself on staying current with all the latest college admission trends. I regularly attend conferences and travel to college campuses 3-4 times per year to meet with admission representatives and tour the schools. I also take advantage of webinars and other educational opportunities provided by my professional organizations. I am a member of IECA (Independent Educational Consultants Association), NACAC (National Association for College Admission Counseling), HECA (Higher Educational Consultants Association), and IACAC (Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling).
