Jane Klemmer: Klemmer Educational Consulting

Jane Klemmer, an independent educational consultant in Westchester County, New York, asks the question, what do you want colleges to know about you? “All of my students have a story to tell. I help them discover that voice so that schools really understand who they are and what they will bring to the college community.”

Recognizing that college is perhaps the most important investment we will make for our children, Jane focuses on empowering families with knowledge to help them evaluate options from an academic, social and financial perspective. A former professional violist, 25-year corporate finance executive and mother of three daughters, Jane understands the issues facing families today with respect to admission and paying for college, and frequently speaks to groups about the college process and financial aid. She is a graduate of Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and received an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School.
