Carol and Janice entered the field of educational consulting after years in the business world. Their passion in helping students is driven by their knowledge of the vast career fields available to college students. Understanding that the end result is a self-supporting adult, DK College Consultants has built a personalized approach to finding the “best fit” college. They start with an assessment of careers and college majors so that your student enters college with the self-awareness they need to stay focused on the first goal: college graduation in four years. Throughout the engagement, the personal relationship the consultant enjoys with the student takes a student through college lists, high school course selection, standardized testing options, college visits, college fairs, and ultimately the pared down list of colleges to which the student will apply. They provide counseling in all aspects of college application preparation, including evaluations, recommendations, transcripts, and essays. And all along the way, students are given the tools to take ownership in the college search and selection process.
