Archana Sudame: Admissions Crew

Admission Crew, LLC is based in Fremont, CA. There are three independent college planning experts (Associates) on Admission Crew’s Board: Archana Sudame, Patricia Boisseree, and Vasanta Kottapalli.

Archana (Archie), the founder of Admission Crewprimarily works with students interested in majors related to STEM (sciences, technology, engineering and math), pre-med track, and/or business. Archana has a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences and has taught life sciences to undergraduates at Rutgers, Berkeley, and Santa Clara University for years.She has also worked as an external college application reviewer with a selective private college in the San Francisco Bay Area. She enjoys working with students and conducting independent research in her new field (education and college advising); she recently presented her findings about advising the STEM-inclined students at the WACAC (Western Association of College Admission Counseling) Conference. Archana routinely collaborates with high school counselors, community college counselor, other educational experts, and college admission officers for research.

Archana’s associates Patricia (Trish), an LD (Learning Differences) expert, and Vasanta, a science fairs and competitions expert, support many non-STEM and STEM students by offering comprehensive advice in their respective areas of expertise. From providing tips regarding study techniques, resume building, college tours and college essays, all three Associates of Admission Crew, LLC are extremely passionate about working with students and families. Every year they also help numerous under-privileged and first generation students who are interested in STEM majors. Most students who seek help from Admission Crew are high achievers and have shown a deep interest or a natural inclination/passion for STEM subjects. These students are often involved in STEM activities such as science fairs and competitions from early high school years or, in some cases, even earlier than that. Admission Crew has a special program which identifies the strengths and weaknesses of students in STEM subjects thereby creating a unique profile for each student. Guidance is highly personalized and based upon the strength/weakness profile of each student and relevant opportunities available to students are discussed considering their true passion, interests and abilities. Most students (and families) who choose to work with Admission Crew are open minded about generating a balanced college-list and finding the right fit for the student.
