An IEC's Test Prep Secret Weapon

Applerouth has recently wrapped up our National Practice Test Weekend (which included two free webinars: one for parents called Building Your Student’s Testing Timeline and one for students called Understanding Your Scores), but did you know that we offer free live-proctored, virtual mock SAT and ACT tests each weekend? Mock tests are scheduled throughout the weekend to allow for varying schedules and time zones; extended time options are also available. So, if you students missed last weekend’s “Test Drive,” there is still time for them to take a practice test to determine which test, if any, to pursue.

With the conclusion of the academic year fast approaching, we have heard from many educational consultants that this is the moment when you are starting conversations with your Class of 2023 students about testing and checking in with the Class of 2022 on execution of their testing plan. Does any of this sound familiar...

• Are parents telling you that they don’t think the tests are going to be required so their students aren’t going to try testing at all?
• Do you have clients who have taken the PSAT or PreACT but don’t yet have a baseline score for the other test?

While the testing policies for many colleges continue to be in flux, we do know that many schools will at least remain test optional for the Class of 2022. Still, you know that doesn’t mean that students should opt out of trying the tests, to see if testing could be something that will help their application for admission or qualify them for merit awards. • Our mock test calendar and registration links

• An opt-in box for families to share their test information with you, their IEC.

Then, when a student has taken a mock test, as their IEC, you can view the score report via your Applerouth.com account. (Don’t think you have an Applerouth account? If you are receiving this email, you do! You just need to log in using the email address we mail to and set or reset your password using the “Forgot My Password” link.) Additionally, for any students who choose to work with Applerouth, you will be able to use your Applerouth.com dashboard to monitor their tutoring sessions, additional mock tests, homework, scheduling and official scores. Consider us an extension of your office: your test prep secret weapon.
